I have been so engrossed with the project I am currently working on, that I have not had time to follow current events. Shame on me.

The last few weeks have been spent getting ready for Brooklyn Honors Spike Lee, a three day tribute that will mark the 20th anniversary of Lee's third film, Do the Right Thing. Unfortunately, not much time has been spent keeping up with the events that matter the most to me.

So I took time tonight to not only catch up via the all news channel, but tackled the quickly growing links in my RSS reader. What follows is a list of the best crib notes I've found on the latest in global happenings.
