In 2008 I started The Small World Project. A project where I set out to count the number of new people I would meet over the course of one year.
The countdown continues with people I've met in Atlanta, Honduras, two birthday parties and a baby shower.
Again, there has been a big lapse in updates, but I will try to remember everyone I've met in the past month.
I'm sure I've forgotten some of the people I have met since my last post, but I will give it a try.
The new year has introduced many new characters into my autobiography. Emcees, opera singers, filmmakers, activists, fashion designers, DJs, alternative healers and co-conspirators have all crossed my path so far this month.
The winter holiday season was particularly busy month.
Monday was a good day for meeting people. My roommate had a fundraiser in support of her new film and the room was a prime environment for my 365 day project.
It's winter so I'm not getting out much, but here are few people to add to my list in the Small World Project.
I recently read somewhere that you will meet approximately 4,000 people in a lifetime. That number seemed small to me, so I decided to start documenting every new person I meet over the course of a year.
