"You got moves?" he asked me.
"Oh you don't want to see my moves, man."
The kids were all dancing and singing on the way out. I could't help but join in.
"My girl, my girl, my girl. Talking about my girl. My girl."
I do a little foot shuffle.
"Awwww yeah. I knew you had moves."
"If we had a piece of cardboard, I'd show you my REAL moves."
On a sunny day in Bed-Stuy, I remembered how much fun teen-agers can be. I couldn't stop singing and dancing for the rest of the day.
